The Project Management Office (PMO) has been created to establish a unified project management methodology under ACTVET, IAT and ADVETI, as well as monitoring and supervising project manag​ement process to ensure achieving project deliverables and secure alignment with TVET sector requirements.

PMO Functions:

  • Contribute in the alignment of the projects goals and targets to ACTVET Strategic Plan.
  • Provide mentoring and coaching in an effort to raise the project management maturity level of ACTVET.
  • Ensure that projects are implemented according to the best international practices for project management.
  • Support the process of new projects evaluation to define prioritization, approval and initiation.
  • Liaise with projects owners and/or project managers to deliver guidance, reporting and support as needed, to ensure projects are on track and minimize potential risks.
  • Prepare projects performance reports to be submitted to senior management.
  • Develop, review and maintain all project standard requirements such as project management processes, procedures and tools.
  • Ensure adherence to the project's allocated budget and follow-up on expenditure.
  • Monitor and supervise adherence to the project management process.
  • Actively participate in project execution and providing consultation and assistance to the project team.
  • Conduct evaluation sessions and communicate lessons learned.
  • Hub of ACTVET project information as a reference for future projects.
